The Vietnam - America Friendship Branch launched

The Faculty of English Language, LHU on April 23 held the launching ceremony of Vietnam - America Friendship Branch at the Co-working Space, campus 2, LHU.

The launching ceremony saw the presence of Ms. Le Thi Huong - Head of Peace, Solidarity and Friendship - Union of Friendship, Standing Committee member of Vietnam - America Friendship Association of Dong Nai and Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh Tuan - Chairman of Vietnam - America Friendship Association of Dong Nai. On the side of LHU, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Vice Rector, Mr. Le Duc Thinh and Mr. Dang Thi - Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of English Language, the Executive Committee of the Branch and its members.

The establishment of the Vietnam - America Friendship Branch at LHU marks a milestone in its international cooperation. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Vietnam - America Friendship Association of Dong Nai was very pleased to have a new branch, also hoped LHU would continue to support and cooperate with the Association in cultural exchange, education, science and technology activities.

On behalf of the University Management Board, Vice Rector Nguyen Thanh Lam also expressed his happiness at this special event, especially when the University is approaching its 25th anniversary. He emphasized the important role in international exchanges and cooperation, as well as committed to accompany the Provincial Friendship Association in its activities in the coming time.

The Vietnam - America Friendship Branch at LHU includes members as lecturers and students of the Faculty of English Language. Mr. Dang Thi - Vice Dean of the Faculty of English Language was elected as the Chairman of the Branch.
