LHU receives VND 100 million scholarship and signs MoU with Keeson Binh Duong Co., Ltd

On October 10, 2024, LHU held a MoU signing ceremony with Keeson Binh Duong Co., Ltd, at the same time receiving a VND 80 million scholarship fund. The agreement aims to foster cooperation between the two sides in training and internship. On the occasion, Nisshin Seifun Company Limited also awarded scholarships worth 30 million VND to LHU students. Accordingly, the total value of scholarships is up to VND 110 million, providing significant financial aid, helping students alleviate financial pressures and focus on their learning.

This event marks an important milestone in the cooperative relationship between LHU and businesses, while bringing more development opportunities for students.

The two sides exchanging cooperation contents 

Attending the ceremony, from LHU, were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector, MBA. Huynh Thuc Hieu - Deputy Director of Center of Admissions and Public Relations, MA. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong - Vice Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies and 10 students from various faculties. From KEESON Binh Duong Co., Ltd., there was Mr. Gevin - Quality Director, along with his colleagues. Nisshin Seifun Co., Ltd., was represented by Ms. Ho Minh Trang - Head of Human Resources Department and Mr. Tran Van Tien - Head of Maintenance Department.

In his remarks, Mr. Gevin, Quality Director of KEESON Binh Duong Co., Ltd. stated "This is the first time our Company has cooperated with LHU and we are particularly impressed with the University' outstanding achievements. We wish to form a team of creative, young and dynamic employees and hope that one day soon welcoming LHU students for internships and long-term employment. In 2024, the Company will expand its factory in Binh Phuoc, especially needing students majoring in Chinese Language, Mechatronics - Electronics, Accounting, Logistics and Finance - Banking".

Over the past 9 years, Nisshin Seifun Co., Ltd. has always accompanied LHU, awarding many scholarships to studious poor students. Head of Human Resources Department Ho Minh Trang also gave a message to the students "Despite small values, these scholarships are a significant encouragement for students during their studies, helping to reduce financial strain. The Company is also committed to welcoming students for internships with allowance support and a professional working environment, so that they can learn, contribute, and have the opportunity to stay long-term with the business".

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector of LHU expressed his deep gratitude to the businesses for always caring and supporting LHU students. He emphasized that the University always aims to connect students with businesses, particularly by recommending outstanding and potential students for career development at partner units. LHU is committed to being a strong bridge to help students access various internship, employment and scholarship opportunities, contributing to improving the quality of training and human resource development, meeting labor market needs.

Also in the joyful atmosphere of the ceremony, many students expressed their delight and excitement when knowing that they will have more opportunities to study and work at partner companies, thanks to this strong cooperative tie.

With the companionship and support from businesses like KEESON and Nisshin Seifun, LHU students will continue to gain more motivation to strive further, becoming excellent factors in the future workforce. This collaboration is hoped to become stronger and mutually beneficial, contributing to creating new steps for both students and businesses in the future.
