On the morning of October 30, 2026, LHU signed a cooperation agreement with Vinpearl Joint Stock Company and held a seminar titled “LHU students – ready to join leading companies”. The program aimed to strengthen business involvement in education, giving students more opportunities to gain practical experience and prepare for their future careers while still at university.

Attending the program, LHU was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Vice Rector, along with leaders of various departments, offices and centers, and nearly 100 students from different faculties. Vinpearl Joint Stock Company was represented by Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Huong – HR Director, together with leaders of the company's professional departments.
Strengthening business involvement in education
The agreement between LHU and Vinpearl provides a foundation for cooperation in education, internships, recruitment, scholarship support, company visits, and activities to develop students' skills and career orientation.
As a member company of Vingroup, Vinpearl operates in tourism, hospitality and entertainment, with a system of hotels and resorts, along with conference, dining and golf services. The diversity of its business activities creates opportunities for cooperation with various academic fields at LHU, including tourism, management, marketing, foreign languages, accounting and engineering.
Through this partnership, LHU aims to expand practical learning opportunities for students while strengthening communication between its faculties and businesses regarding workforce requirements. This provides a basis for the University to organize more relevant practical training and career guidance activities, helping students connect their academic knowledge with actual job requirements.
Preparing students for their future careers
Following the signing ceremony, the seminar "LHU students – ready to join leading companies" focused on introducing internship and job opportunities, as well as career development paths at Vinpearl. Students had the opportunity to speak directly with company representatives and ask questions about matters related to entering the workplace.

For LHU, bringing businesses closer to students also helps them understand job requirements before starting their internships or applying for jobs. The information shared at the seminar gives students a better basis for assessing their current abilities, setting goals and actively improving their knowledge, foreign language skills, professional skills and working attitude.
