More than 600 new PhDs, bachelors, engineers and pharmacists shine on Graduation Day

On July 27, at Eros Palace Convention Center, LHU solemnly held the 2nd Graduation Ceremony of 2024 for more than 600 new PhDs, bachelors, engineers and pharmacists. The first ceremony was previously held on March 30. This is a special occasion for the University to honor the new graduates' efforts and academic achievements, also a testament to its strong and sustainable development.

The ceremony was attended  by Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector of LHU; along with members of the Party Committee; members of the Board of Rectors; Heads of Faculties, Offices and Units under LHU; business representatives. In particular, the event welcomed 630 new PhDs, bachelors, engineers, pharmacists and their families, relatives, and friends.

In his opening speech, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector warmly congratulated all students who graduated and received Doctoral and Bachelor's degrees, marking the end of a difficult, stressful learning journey at LHU. He emphasized their roles and responsibilities in the country's integration and development period. He also encouraged the new graduates to continue learning, improving knowledge and skills, promoting creativity and innovation, and contributing to building a civilized and prosperous society.

Aso at the ceremony, new pharmacists solemnly performed the medical oath rite. 

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, the University respectfully praised, honored and awarded certificates of merit to 8 valedictorians. It also announced Decisions on accrediting and issuing diplomas for 630 new graduates from the nine Faculties: Faculty of Postgraduate Studies; Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics; Faculty of Information Technology; Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Finance and Accounting; Faculty of Science and Food Technology; Faculty of English Language, Faculty of Oriental Studies and Faculty of Pharmacy.
