Lac Hong Robocon celebrates its 20-year journey

With its 27-year journey of establishment and development, LHU has constantly strived to conquer the technology arena, including a 20-year journey of Robocon. Thanks to its achievements in Robocon, LHU has gained nationwide and international recognition. During the 20-year journey, 103 teams and 1,174 members have honorably brought LHU 9 championships at the Vietnam Robot Innovation Contest, 3 championships at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest and many worthy awards in the international arena. In order to review that journey, LHU held a warm ceremony on September 28, 2024 to celebrate its 20th anniversary of Lac Hong Robocon with the theme "Connecting passionate hearts".

Attending the event were Dr. Do Thi Lan Dai – President of the University Council; Dr. Lam Thanh Hien – Rector; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh – Vice Rector; Dr. Pham Van Toan – Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics – Electronics; leaders of affiliated units, especially nearly 100 former Robocon members and technology enthusiasts.

Over the past 20 years on this journey, LHU has brought numerous accomplishments to students, alumni, and businesses in terms of human resources. Today's event is an opportunity for the entire Lac Hong Robocon not only to look back on the achievements, but also to express gratitude to those who have been committed, dedicated, and written the history of Lac Hong Robocon over the past 20 years. They are the lecturers, businesses, and especially generations of students who have successively brought honor to the LHU brand.

In the warm and emotional atmosphere, generations of students and lecturers shared memorable moments from both national and international Robocon competitions. The 20-year journey from difficult beginnings to resounding achievements, along with the successes of students after the competitions, has made the Lac Hong Robocon name shine in the tech arena.

In addition, the event ignited a passion for technology, especially the Robocon movement among current and prospective students. The University leaders also highlighted the importance of maintaining and developing the Robocon movement, considering it a foundation for young students to continue asserting themselves on their academic journey and in conquering technological heights.
