LHU leaders attend 2025 World Chinese Language Conference

On November 14, 2025, the LHU leadership delegation, led by Rector Lam Thanh Hien, attended the Opening Ceremony of the World Chinese Language Conference at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. The event took place over two days, from November 14 to 15, 2025, and was jointly organized by the Chinese Language Center of the Ministry of Education and Lu Dong University.

This year’s event brought together leaders, scholars, and experts from over 160 countries and territories, marking the largest scale and influence to date in the field of international Chinese language education.

The LHU delegation also included representatives from the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Office of International Affairs, the Office of Educational Testing and Quality Assurance , and the Department of Media. Their participation enabled the University to stay updated on trends in language education, broaden international exchanges, and explore teaching models being applied in other countries.

Notably, during the morning session on November 15, Vietnam’s representative, PhD candidate Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh, the Office of International Affairs had the honor of presenting a paper titled “Practice and innovation in Chinese Language teaching at LHU, Vietnam”.

This year’s Conference focused on discussions about language development trends, innovative teaching models, the application of technology in education, and expanding international cooperation. It also provided an opportunity for LHU to share practical experience, showcase its achievements, and seek collaboration opportunities in Chinese language education.

The LHU delegation will continue to participate in the Conference’s discussion sessions and promote further strategic cooperation activities in the near future.
