​LHU robot teams ready for 2017 National Robocon

In the morning of April 26, six teams of Dong Nai-based LHU gathered at a ceremony to prepare for 2017 National Robot Contest which will be held in Ninh Binh province in May. The ceremony took place at LHU Center for Scientific Research and Application. The event saw the presence of Standing Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien - Head of Robocon Board, Chairman of Trade Union Diep Cam Thu, Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, leaders of Mechatronics - Electronics Faculty, International Business Administration Faculty, Information and Resources Center, International Relation Dept., Administrative Department and members of robot teams.

Participating in the Southern regional qualifier round, LHU had six teams. Accordingly, all of them were chosen for the 2017 Vietnam Robocon.

Lac Hong Robocon delegation showed their determination to win victory at the event.

After the speech made by Head of Robocon Board, instructors and more than 80 members of six robot teams took a oath of determination. This is a traditional activity of Lac Hong Robocon. Through the ceremony, the University Management Board wished to transmit fire and will to each member. Specially, the achievement this year is so meaningful to mark the 20th anniversary of the University foundation.

Head of 2017 Robocon delegation Nguyen Ba Thuan said the challenges robot teams had set up were reducing  time, increasing speed and stableness. To do that, each member were required to serious, careful, especially firm spirit. Through contact competitions, the University has created a favorable environment for students to train and gain higher goal to overcome their limits.

After the ceremony, Lac Hong Robot delegation burnt incenses at Tran Bien Temple of Literature. The same day's afternoon, the delegation officially started out for Ninh Binh province.
