LHU officials awarded certificates of merit by Binh Phuoc province People's Committee

Recently, at the Preliminary Conference on Science and Technology in the first 6 months and tasks for the last 6 months of 2020 held by Binh Phuoc province Department of Science and Technology, LHU was awarded a certificate of merit from the Chairman of Provincial People's Committee for excellent achievements in mini Robocon 2019.

Representing the University Management Board, Vice Rector Nguyen Vu Quynh (first, right) received a certificate of merit of Binh Phuoc province People's Committee, awarded by Mr. Dang Ha Giang - Director of provincial Department of Science and Technology 

In addition, LHU individuals were awarded certificates of merit from Binh Phuoc province People's Committee and Department of Science and Technology for their outstanding contributions to the mini Robocon, namely MSc. Le Hoang Anh - Head of Automation and Control Engineering Technology, DSc. Le Phuong Truong - Head of Quality Assurance Department and Ms. Khuat Kieu Diem Nhi - Deputy Head of Media Division.

The mini Robot Contest 2019 with the theme "Conquering the golden cashew" is a creative robot playground for students and young people in Binh Phuoc province. It also stimulates the technological passion and creativity among young generations. Here, science and technology lovers can exchange and learn experience, promote creativity, improve their knowledge and practical skills in learning and scientific research, and apply advanced technology to create useful products for life. 

LHU participated in the contest as an adviser in terms of implementing ideas and organization, giving technical advice to the organizers and participating teams as well as propagandizing the competition.

The mini Robocon 2019 launched by Binh Phuoc province People's Committee

Reportedly, from the success of mini Robocon 2019, Director of Binh Phuoc Department of Science and Technology raised the issue of twinning cooperation and ordered LHU to be an adviser for the upcoming science and technology activities and competitions hosted by Binh Phuoc Province.
