Conference on expected learning outcomes - the Faculty of English Language

A conference on expected learning outcomes hosted by the Faculty of English Language has been recently held on July 25 at the Co-working Space of LHU.

Mr. Le Duc Thinh - Dean of English Language Faculty spoke at the conference

The conference is an opportunity for the Faculty to listen to opinions and suggestions made by businesses and alumni on strengths and limitations in its training process. Thence, the Faculty can find the right directions to meet the training objectives.

Attending the conference was Mr. Le Duc Thinh - Acting Dean of English Language Faculty, Mr. Dang Thi - Vice Dean English Language Faculty, Dr. Nguyen Van Tan - Dean of International Economic Administration Faculty, Provincial leadership including Mr. Tang Quoc Lap - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Labor Confederation, Mr. Tran Dang Ninh - Deputy General Director of Dofico Company, Mr. Tran Thanh Huy - Director of Huy Tran Trading Service Co. Ltd, Mr. Tran Tan Phat - Director General of SeAH Viet Nam Company, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Bich - Director of Trung Tin Appraisal Company.

At the conference, alumni stressed practical limitations that students needed to equip soft skills and behave manners in businesses. Other way, teachers needed to be stricter with shy students.

Before enterprises' and alumni's feedbacks, the Faculty leaders revealed its restrictions as well as future development strategies. Thereby, the Faculty expressed its wishes to receive the companion and support on training programs, job opportunities, internship and start-up knowledge... for students. Also, the English Language Faculty has been implementing steps to achieve training quality assessment under AUN-QA’s standards which will take place in March, 2021. This is really a big challenge to the Faculty in particular and the University in general.

In addition, businesses shared their knowledge and experience when working at enterprises, ... start-up inspiration for juniors as well.

Through the conference, alumni also specially offered a scholarship to support poor studious students of the Faculty of English Language.
