Mabuchi - LHU Scholarship Fund: Study first - Pay later

On November 27, 2023, DSc. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector of LHU along with leaders of Offices of International Affairs, Academic Affairs, Financial Affairs and Department of Japanese Studies honorably welcomed and worked with a delegation from the Mabuchi International Scholarship Foundation (MISF) led by Mr. Kamei Shinji - President.

Mabuchi - LHU International Scholarship Fund is a financial support program to reduce the burden of tuition fees and create favorable conditions for students to pursue their studies. It is an interest-free loan support from MISF offered to LHU students.

Mr. Kamei Shinji - President of MISF said "This fund aims to nurture the dreams of students with difficult circumstances. We wish this scholarship fund will be maintained and developed to continue to foster LHU difficult students' dreams of studying. Hopefully, the two sides will keep this cooperation to jointly cultivate talents to serve national and community interests."

To date, 175 LHU students have received this scholarship, each receiving VND 10 million/year during university.

The working session revolved around summarizing and evaluating the Mabuchi Scholarship Fund's performance in recent years. The LHU side reported the number of participating students and the Fund's activities and progress in detail. Next, the two sides exchanged opinions related to the Fund and issues in the signed contract.

The Mabuchi - LHU Scholarship Fund is specifically for students with difficult circumstances who wish to continue their studies at university. Each student will be supported with VND 1 million loan each month during 4 or 4.5 years (depending on the training program). Highlights of this scholarship fund include Continuous financial support; Annual scholarships; and Payback and continuous support.
