Two LHU lecturers recognized among Dong Nai’s 2025 Outstanding Young Teachers

In celebration of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982–2025), the Provincial Youth Union, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, organized a commendation ceremony on November 15, 2025, honoring “Outstanding Young Teachers” in Dong Nai province. The event was held as part of the Dong Nai Youth Festival – Cluster 3 at Bien Hung Park (Tran Bien ward).

The “Outstanding Young Teacher” award is given to young teachers who excel in their profession and actively participate in extracurricular activities. It encourages them to continue sharing knowledge and shaping the character of future generations, making a valuable contribution to the country’s development.

At this year’s ceremony, LHU was proud to have two young lecturers recognized as Outstanding Young Teachers of Dong Nai: Mr. Nguyen Le Anh Tuan, lecturer of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Mr. Bui Xuan Canh, lecturer of the Faculty of Information Technology.

Over the years, LHU’s young lecturers have continuously embraced innovation, taken the lead in applying information technology in teaching, implemented STEM initiatives, and participated in digital transformation projects. Their efforts have enhanced students’ creativity across the province and contributed to improving education quality toward modernization. They have also played a key role in Youth Union – Student Association movements, actively engaging in experiential activities and emulation campaigns, thereby helping identify and nurture many outstanding union members.

Among the 74 teachers honored this year, Mr. Bui Xuan Canh, Lecturer of the Faculty of Information Technology, was invited to join a panel discussion titled “Pride in the Teaching Profession”. Representing the province’s higher education sector, he shared sincere reflections on his teaching journey, spreading a spirit of passion, responsibility, and innovation among educators in the digital era.

This recognition is not only a source of pride for the honored lecturers but also affirms the quality, dedication, and contribution of LHU’s young teaching workforce. It serves as a strong motivation for the University to further promote pedagogical innovation, technological integration, and the development of a modern, humanistic learning environment for students.

2025 marks the seventh consecutive year that the Outstanding Young Teachers Award has been organized. To date, a total of 374 young teachers have been honored since the award was first established.
